How All-On-4 Dental Implants Work

As the name suggests, this procedure uses four high-quality dental implants to anchor a full denture (upper and/or lower arch) to the jawbone. Unlike traditional attached dentures, however, you don’t have to undergo any bone grafting.

While you’re under anesthesia, our oral surgeon will place four (or, occasionally, six) high-quality dental implants into the anterior portion of the jawbone. These implants are situated and angled where the jawbone density is greatest, eliminating the need for bone grafting. To these implant posts, we affix permanent, non-removable dentures.
