Decatur, AL Affordable Dentist
Drake & Wallace Dentistry has several options to make your dental care fit your budget.
If You Don’t Have Insurance
For patients without dental insurance, we have our own in-house dental plan. For a set annual fee, this plan provides routine checkups with x-rays, emergency services, fee discounts, as well as a tooth whitening kit. For more information, please visit our In-House Dental Benefits Plan page.
Payment Plans
For major services, you can spread payments out with payment plans that we offer through CareCredit®. These include no-interest plans and some extended term plans. We can get instant approvals for you, and there are no activation fees.
Other Affordable Options
Dr. Drake and Dr. Wallace understand that unexpected dental expenses can cause problems for your budget. So we will explain what needs to be done, why it needs to be done, and let you know if there are cost-conscious alternatives that will accomplish a similar and acceptable result. Some dentists insist that all their patients accept “ideal treatment.” Here we understand that there may be practical limitations to the care you can afford. Keep in mind, affordable dental care does not mean “cheap” but rather means we offer quality work at reasonable fees. Cheap dentistry can actually end up being more expensive over the long run.
Dental Insurance
At Drake and Wallace Dentistry, we have got you covered. We are participating providers with most of the major dental insurance providers in the area and have a team of insurance coordinators who can explain your coverage and what your responsibilities are using dental software to estimate co-pays and deductibles. And, we will even file the claims on your behalf.
The insurance companies we participate with are: Ameritas, Blue Cross-Blue Shield of Alabama, Cigna Radius, Connection Dental, Delta Dental Premier, GEHA, Guardian, Southland, and MetLife.
An Ounce of Prevention
Finally, we can discuss the best way to keep your dental needs affordable—prevention. Once we have addressed any current dental needs, preventative care becomes the most beneficial thing you can do for managing your dental costs.
